Locality: Milan Area, Italy
Summary: I have been attracted by IT since I was a child. As time elapsed, this real passion increased more and more so in 1989 I began cooperating with several Consultant Companies as a developer and system engineer and eventually matriculated in 1991 at Politecnico di Milano to attend electronic engineering courses. In 1996 I participated with Professor Sechis team at CNR (National Research Institute) to study microprogramming, digital electronics for testability and reliability, neural networks and genetic algorithms. In 1997 I found a job at Epson Italy specializing in troubleshooting Windows, Unix, Mac, AS400 issues. I improved this experience later on as EDP manager at a Branch of Marconi Company. I have been teaching classes in system engineering, networking, designing and programming (VB6, .NET, JSE, J2EE) since 1999 inside the European Social Fund, cooperating with several local and global realities such as Formaper, Comufficio, Forma Service, Axess, Unisys. This activity became so important to me that at present I am responsible for Microsoft and Java courses at EMIT (Feltrinelli Foundation). In 2000 I was engaged as Windows DNA senior developer by Softpeople where in 2002 I became project leader. In that occasion I had the opportunity to participate to the realization of the very first integration (EAI) projects in complex industrial realities focusing mainly on architecting solutions, SDLC (RUP, Agile Programming) and software engineering tools (Mercury suite for qualitative and quantitative testing, cooperative development and design tools using UML). In 2003 I was engaged by Carrefour Italy as an enterprise architect (this is my present job) in order to implement a common european integration platform based on SOA principles. Thanks to this job I greatly improved my professional experience in management, operations, procurement and also deepened my knowledge about enterprise architectures in complex environments
